Wallace Ford

A newspaper reporter, with a desparate need for $5,000, borrows the money from a "shady character." Years later the reporter is charged with a murder he did not commit. Spoiler alert, the truth comes out in the end, the bad guy gets what's coming to him, and the good guy has a bright future. There's a little drama along the way, but there's no treasure map. I found this on this website; with most of the opening credits missing, and too much hiss and crackle in the audio. I used a shot of the 1931 movie poster to make a title card, and cleaned up the audio.

A comedy about a Brooklyn man and a Mexican circus, with more laughs than plot, but guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Wallace Ford and Dean Jagger in a story involving newsreels and early television. Don't bother downloading the h.264 file. The Cinepack file from which it is derived is smaller.

Wallace Ford experiences poverty, crime, and incarceration.

A silly poverty-row farce about a gang of pickpockets that decides to run a bank. Update: I removed most of the crackle from the audio.

Mysterious murders at a remote inn. In the last few minutes of the file named Rogues_Tavern_1936_loses_synch.avi, which is ripped from a DVD, the sound is slightly unsynchronized with the video. The file named Rogues_Tavern_1936.avi is derived from the 3.8 gigabyte file found here and seems to have no synch problems.

imdb: Life gets complicated for a taxi driver when it's discovered that he's the spitting image of the murdered heir to a fortune.

A suspenseful movie starring Wallace Ford and June Vincent. Don't bother downloading the h.264 file. The Cinepack file from which it is derived is smaller.

Murders in an old dark house.
