"Wildcat riggers risk their lives in the pursuit of oil. Their jobs get even more dangerous when ruthless oil baron J.C. Anderson (Berton Churchill) sets his sights on their territory. When longtime driller Dan O'Reilly (Frank Shannon) falls to his death from a well tower sabotaged by Anderson's strong-arm thugs, his teenage son 'Fishtail' (Frankie Darro) inherits the property and the troubles that come with it.

Tex Yancey (Tex Ritter) arrives on the Parker ranch on Christmas eve and is given the job of being Santa Claus. Also dressed as Santa Claus, Blackie (Bob Terry) robs Parker and kills a man. When Tex is arrested for the murder, he escapes and joins up with outlaw Becker (Charles King) and his gang. He finds Blackie's Santa Claus suit but is soon made a prisoner.

Feuding fathers deal with the shocking news that their sons were switched at birth, meaning that one of their daughters is about to marry her own brother.

AKA Emergency Landing A test pilot and his weather observer develop a "robot" control so airplanes can be flown without pilots, but enemy agents get wind of it and try to steal it or destroy it.

Maxwell (William Farnum) is trying to bring in an oil well and Wilkens (Weldon Heyburn) is out to stop him. When his attempted robbery of Maxwell's payroll fails, he tells the ranchers who invested on Autry's advise that the well is dry. But Gene knows there is oil there and with everyone after him he heads for the well to try and bring it in with dynamite.

When John Barrabbee's (Thurston Hall) plane makes an emergency landing, he wanders off and joins Roy's cattle drive. Later he learns he was killed when his plane resumed its flight and crashed. He also learns his daughter (Dale Evans) is going to sell his ranch and marry a man he dislikes. So he gives Roy a job on the ranch and sends him off to see if he can prevent both of these events while he remains in hiding.

Retired marshal Buck Roberts (Buck Jones) has left law enforcement and is enjoying life on his northern Arizona ranch when he receives a telegram from Marshal Bat Madison (Jay Wilsey) requesting his aid in stopping a rash of stagecoach robberies near villain invested Mesa City, and off he goes as a fast-paced Rough Riders (Jones, Tim McCoy, Raymond Hatton) adventure begins.

The third film of four featuring Sergeant 'Dodo' Doubleday (William Tracy) and his adventures and mishaps in the US military service Colonel J. A. Barkley (James Gleason) thinks that Doubleday is an expert sharp shooter when in fact he's terrified of guns. When silver is found in Virginia City, Lawyer John Storm (Tom Keene) leads a group from Indiana west. He soon has to defend them all in court against a company that is after their claims. Fighting a crooked Judge, he gets a mis-trial by telling how much each of the jurors was bribed. Then he gets the Governor to appoint a new Judge. But just as the retrial opens, the Judge (William Worthington) learns his daughter (Gwynne Shipman) has been kidnaped.

Chet Kasedon (Monte Blue) is after the Indians hidden gold mine but Chief Moya (Buster Crabbe) will not reveal it's location. He has also hired mining engineers Gale (Tom Keene) and Mortimer (Robert Cummings) to locate the mine. When Gale sees Kasedon's cruelty to Moya, he switches sides.
